Reno and Tahoe with my Love :)

soooo me and Alex decided to spend the weekend with adventure and of course some shopping. There were a little mishaps though. He had duty on Saturday from 1930 to 0130 so our time was limited on Saturday and then Sunday he had duty from 1200 to like 1500. But this weekend was successful either way. :)

April 30, 2011...
The plan - wake up 0600 get ready. Drive to Tahoe and take the Carson City way. Do some hiking in Tahoe. Ride the Gondalla. Hopefully if we have enough time go for some horseback riding. Then go home around 1600-ish in time for my baby's duty.

What really happened - Alarm rang for 0600 and i hit the dismiss button on my alarm. Making me miss the snooze and having me wake up at 0700. Had to wake Alex up to get ready. We left base around 0900 and went to Wal-mart to get some little munch-ons since we didn't get any breakfast. We then planned to eat at Ihop when we got to Tahoe. Then we went to gas up my car and around 0930 we were on our way to Tahoe...around 1130 we arrived to beautiful South Lake Tahoe...Alex got his camera out to take pictures but oh noooo...low bat :( but good thing we got his phone because my phone can't take good pictures at all. I first wanted to show Alex the beach that i remember seeing the most beautiful sunset ever...at Zephyr Cove beach...BRRRRR...when we stepped out of my car it was coooooold...not really what i expected. Me and Alex walked the beach for a little while and felt the cold water. I wanted to lay on the beach but yeah Alex was right it was pretty cold. So in we went into my car and off to Ihop. There we we had some AWESOME breakfast. I got the Belgium Waffle Combo while mi amor got Chocolate Chip Pancakes. After that we decided not to go hiking because it was so cold..so we decided to go ride the Gondolla but that was closed. So we decided to just do some sight seeing and some shopping. We left around 1400-ish. Like i said we had fun either way :) Let me show you some pics from our whole trip :)

This trip was strictly just to get sushi and to get Alex's tire fixed..but we could not resist the sweet temptation of shopping ^_^

how one simple suggestion lead to a friendship....

liz: ROFLMAO! that guy in front of me is gonna get a tiiicket!...hahaha

alex: SMH!

liz: Oh no! i'm getting pulled over!

apparently, i had my headlights off and it was night time! woopsy! i was all panic-y and alex was about to get a ticket to for handing over his military ID as source of identification...memorable! we didn't get a ticket...and on we went for choir practice...

how best buds who were "partners in crime" (wink wink) became boyfriend and girlfriend...

liz: that's not true!

alex: he said you're using me just for sex!

liz: really?? you'd believe in someone that you're not close to rather then your best friend????

they realized in the end how foolish that rumor was and were buddies again but felt different for some reason towards each other. liz was confused but alex knew he had feelings for liz.

back in fallon:

alex: i have to leave you...

liz: why?? 

alex: because i care for you too much. i can't understand these feelings!

liz: i care for you too!

Liz and Alex gave it a shot to be boyfriend and girlfriend but Liz just didn't feel it. She was confused. Eventually they broke up the next day. :(

blast from the past...facebook chat incident.

Alex, frustrated after reading a chat from Liz' facebook...storms in Liz's work center and throws her key at her desk. Liz chases after him but was too late..he was quick. She jumped in her car and tried to find out wat was going on. There he was walking towards the barracks and Liz tries to her best ability to stop him. Liz realized how much of a loss it would be for her to lose Alex and wanted to forget the whole incident and pour her love to him but she did damage.

alex: how can i trust you now!

liz: give me a chance

They both made up the same day and Alex forgave Liz for her mistakes.

We've came a long way. We endured trials, we made problems and made solutions, we smiled, we laughed, we shared stories and shared our troubles, most importantly we loved each other.

I've been on the roller coaster of love. Yes, there's down times and yes there are good times. We will learn, we will cry, we will laugh, we will love. The truth of the matter is, is that we accept each other. I accept him for being a funny, energetic, God-fearing man and he accepts me for being a weirdo, clueless, funny, God-fearing and lovable woman. We are aware that obstacles are thrown at us at a daily basis but we always have solutions and we have always conquered. Love makes me smile. Love makes him smile. Loving each other makes us both smile. With God on our side we will prevail. God blessed me with a man that loves me even more then i love myelf. How awesome is that? I love my honeybunch, sugarplum, pumpy-umpy-umpkin. He's all the man i need to live this wonderful life God has blessed us. May there be more years to come for us. Til then for more corny corny stories :) Adios!
